Christmas 1984

Sorry we haven't updated in a while, we've been preoccupied with school and everything else that's going on. Here are a few pictures of us since the raccoon. :)

Racoon?!

Heather: Several days ago we were sitting in the living room when we heard a weird noise outside. We thought it was Maggie, our cat, trying to get in (she sneaks outside a lot). Sheila went to see what it was and opened the side door. Three "cats" ran away; they were trying to get into the house!! I went out back onto the deck to see if Maggie was out there. I saw what looked like Maggie, only bigger and with a bushier tail run over to the steps and peek out through the railing on the deck. I took a closer look and saw what looked like a masked cat; it was a racoon!!!! I ran back inside because I didn't want it to attack me. haha

Mom called animal control a few days later and a guy came and set up a trap by the deck so we could catch the racoons and relocate them. we were afraid they would hurt the kitties. :(

Last night Erin thought she heard something climb over the fence. Then an about an hour later, mom thought she heard something so we got the flashlight and looked through mom's window. Erin couldn't tell if it was a cat or not, but it looked at her and Erin saw the "mask" over its eyes and came running to tell me we caught one of the racoons!! It was really cute.

Late that night, I heard other racoons by the cage. they were all making funny noises and stuff.

This morning Erin took some pictures before animal control picked it up. Here they are:

Today John and Dennis drove up to visit and help out with some things around the house. Here are some pics. :)

Summer Break?

Summer break has started!!
